As we kick off Men's health month I knew it was necessary to start right off with the question that always causes a temporary pause during the physical exam. “Do you have to put your finger in my butt”. It's almost as if men skip the annual exam each year for fear that “the dreaded finger” will happen.
It is easily one of the quickest things to occur during the physical exam but it seems to get all the focus. I believe it is because with all of the news you hear the colon or lung issue the tiny prostate doesn't get it's fair share.
