So, let’s discuss why we should start working on our New Year’s resolutions now rather than waiting until January 1st to act…

We have about five weeks left in the calendar now before the year 2024 ends. But before we start making New Year’s resolutions for 2025, I first want to ask: how did your resolutions for 2024 turn out?

Because what tends to happen when people have New Year’s resolutions is they say, “I got all of 2024 to do this thing”, but then Thanksgiving comes, and they realize, “I didn’t do that.” Thinking you have all year to work on the change you want to see happen is how the trap of failure sets into your life.

But I don’t want you to be a victim of that. That’s why in this episode, we’re gearing you up for an early start. In this week’s podcast, we’ll discuss the value of planning and working on our resolutions in December, seeing the remaining weeks as an opportunity rather than a countdown.

These last five weeks are perfect for building momentum, so don’t wait for January 1st—let’s begin now. Tune into this episode, and together, let’s set ourselves up for a successful 2025.

Why you need to check this episode:

  • Discover easy and simple steps to achieve success when working on your New Year’s Resolutions;
  • Understand why it’s a lot better that you start acting now and not wait until January 1st before working on reaching your goals; and
  • Recognize the importance and power of accountability in driving you toward the achievement of your goals

“Whatever that thing is, I want to make sure there is an improvement for the year 2025 [for you]. And I want you to get started now. We are not waiting until January to start this stuff. We are not waiting until January to start thinking about our New Year’s resolutions. We are not waiting until January to start thinking about the obstacles. We are not waiting until January to start holding ourselves accountable with solutions. We’re not doing that, y’all. Not no more; because they don’t work.” – Dr. Berry Pierre

“This is a safe space. We are going to talk our way through it and then get to moving. And we’re not waiting ‘til January 1st; we’re not waiting for any type of ball drop to occur. No, we are going to get the game started right now. We are getting the transformation started right now. We’re going to put plans into action right now.” – Dr. Berry Pierre

“When you get older, you start valuing some things a lot more, and you start realizing that you can’t value them unless you’re at the healthiest that you can be.” – Dr. Berry Pierre
