The Covid-19 Vaccine Approved For Kids
In this episode of Medicine Mondays we are going to be talking about the recent approval of the covid-19 vaccine for kids. More specifically the FDA approval for both Moderna & Pfizer Vaccines for children 6 months to 5 years old. This has been a decision that parents across the country have been waiting for as this is the last age group that has had to go unprotected since the pandemic first began.
With over 5.7 million of the 13+ million of documented covid-19 cases occurring this year alone this has been a cry for help from parents, caregivers and health professionals that have finally been answered.
We will talk about the differences of the covid-19 vaccines from both Pfizer & Moderna and discuss some safety profiles.
